For TapLoop emergency contact keychains, you may voluntarily enter child information, emergency contact names and phone numbers, and medical or allergy information. This information is stored securely and displayed publicly only when someone scans or taps your keychain — you control what information you provide.

We collect information you provide when activating or setting up your TapLoop keychain. We use this information to:

Activate and manage your TapLoop keychain and associated destination URL
Send you a confirmation email with your keychain ID and update link
Allow you to update your keychain destination at any time
Provide emergency contact information to those who scan or tap an emergency TapLoop keychain
Provide customer support if needed

Emergency Contact Data

If you set up a TapLoop Emergency Contact keychain, the information you enter (child name, emergency contact names and phone numbers, allergies, and medical conditions) will be publicly accessible to anyone who taps or scans that keychain. You choose what information to include. We strongly encourage you to only include information you are comfortable being visible to any person who may scan the keychain in an emergency situation. You may update or delete this information at any time by using the update link sent to your email.

Our Website is intended for users 18 years of age and older. However, our Emergency Contact keychain product is specifically designed to help parents protect children. In this context, parents and guardians voluntarily enter information about their child. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
